This is a custom 18th century style gown that was commissioned to be worn at the 2025 Fete Galantes de Versailles gala, held in the Palace of Versailles. The gown features a saque back and a ‘zone front’ stomacher.

The commission includes the robe a la francaise, stomacher, decorative petticoat, apron style embellished lace overlay, and an accessory reticule bag made of dress fabric to complete the look.

The robe a la francaise was made of purple damask fabric with a small flower branch repeating pattern. The stomacher was made of the same fabric on one side and a darker purple charmeuse/satin fabric on the other. The double sided stomacher gives the option of two looks for the gown.

The petticoat was made of a white shimmer fabric, worn with a separate apron style overlay made out of a silver lace with larger silver floral applique.
