This was a custom commissioned for the 2025 Fete Galantes held in the Palace of Versailles. The commission included, the Robe a la francaise, stomacher with hidden center zipper, decorative petticoat with an embroidered overlay, and small accessory bag made from the dress fabrics and trims,

The gown was created with a beautiful blue damask fabric with large repeating pattern, and a companion beige damask fabric. The pattern was taken into account when patterning the saque back and the pattern was matched and mirrored. The front has a hidden zipper for a modern convenient way of dressing. The pattern was matched to disguise the hidden zipper placket.

Ivory bows were created as warm accents, and ivory satin buttons gave the appearance of a period specific detail of a central button opening that further disguised a zipper closure. A small accessory bag was also created using the dress fabrics and lace.
