“Master of Ceremony”

My ‘Master of Ceremony’ is a 4 piece ensemble that I designed, patterned and fabricated. The hat was a felt blank that I covered in the same satin as the lapels, made a  hat corset out of pearlized faux crocodile, with brass grommets and lacing in the back. The front detail is a feather medallion with a tall stem of chantily coque feathers and a chicken skull. The jacket is a stylized tail coat  with ‘cold shoulders and a metal overlay at the cuff and back sections. A The bustier top and matching pants are made of faux crocodile and embossed gold fabric. The inspiration is from my favorite musical ‘Cabaret’.
