This Jester is 3′ tall. It has a\u00c2\u00a0traditional jester 3 point hat made of\u00c2\u00a0blue satin, and a rose patterned gold fabric. The band is created with a 1\/4″\u00c2\u00a0 burgundy & gold rope trim on either side of a .5″ wide piece of burgundy and black trim. Each point of the hat is adorned with 5 beads suspending a\u00c2\u00a0coin, creating a \u00c2\u00a0tassle of sorts,\u00c2\u00a0along with\u00c2\u00a0a\u00c2\u00a0brass bell\u00c2\u00a0and a double ribbon bow. The cowl is burgundy satin and finished with a gold and\u00c2\u00a0blue trim along the face edge. The doublet, or top, is blue taffeta with a gold metallic rose leafy pattern. It has\u00c2\u00a0burgundy velvet capped sleeves with a 1″ burgundy, blue and gold decorative ribbon cuff. The peplums are\u00c2\u00a0purple velvet, with two rows of top-stitched decorative trim accents. The center front\u00c2\u00a0detail\u00c2\u00a0is a 3″ gold edged transluscent ribbon, with a 1.5″ gold edged burgundy ribbon, and a gold and burgundy trim topstitched down the center. On each wrist is a cuff made of a gathered 1.5″ gold mesh ribbon, with gold tipped white lace stitched to the hand side edge. The shorts, or pumpkin hose, are\u00c2\u00a0burgundy velvet with a 1″ decorative ribbon cuff\u00c2\u00a0that matches the sleeves. Each ankle has a 2.5″ gathered metallic gold ribbon as a ruffle. This doll has\u00c2\u00a0two\u00c2\u00a0rose patterned gold\u00c2\u00a0fabric\u00c2\u00a0shoes that\u00c2\u00a0are finished off at the tip with a brass bell and a double ribbon bows. The arms and legs are made with a black and white harlequin diamond patterned Michael Miller cotton fabric with muslin hands and face. The knee and elbow joints are sandwiched between 2 fabric covered soft discs with 2 accent buttons. The facial features are needle sculpted with applied embroidered eyes and eyebrows.
